Telegram Usernames
Telegram Usernames are unique identifiers that allow other users to find you in messenger using basic search.
A username can only contain letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens. The minimum length of the name is 5 characters and it must be unique.

How t.me works
Once you set up a username, you will be able to send people the link t.me/username or username.t.me. Opening any of these links on your phone will automatically launch the Telegram app and open a chat with you.
