TON Whales is a team of developers creating an ecosystem with main products: decentralized Whales Staking on TON open source blockchain, Tonhub wallet, Blockchain Explorer and the Whales Club.

Staking Pool — decentralized staking pool on TON open source blockchain.

Commission for a deposit or withdrawal at any tariff will be 0.2 Toncoins, and a minimal deposit is 50. An exception is the Whales Liquid (Beta) tariff, where the minimum deposit is 1 Toncoin (data for Jule 2024).

Tonhub is a non-custodial wallet with full access to funds for storage, staking, and payment for services. It supports $TON and $USDT cryptocurrencies (on TON). There is a built-in browser, and you can view the transaction history.

Blockchain explorer is designed for searching and viewing transactions on TON. On the main page of explorer, you can view the network configuration, early miners and $AMBR (Ambra) holders. There you can also see the address of TON Foundation.

Ambra is the native token of TON Whales ecosystem, the cost of which cannot fall below 0.1 TON. The name of the token was borrowed from a protective substance in the whale’s stomach.

Blockchain Explorer is the first product of TON Whales ecosystem. The development team took the name Whales precisely because of the Explorer product, created to view large holders (Whales) in TON blockchain.

TON Whales club

Ton Whales Club is a private club with 290 members (as of June 2024). The entry pass to the club is an NFT from a limited collection of whales of 10,000 token units. Whales have unique accessories. The creators have made more than 300 different improvements to NFT whales, for example: teeth, hats, bellies, eyes, glasses or hair. 287 Whale Tokens have exclusive features (depending on cost), and two legendary ones have a tag on their tail.

Buying or selling an NFT whale is possible on the Disintar or Getgems platforms.

The history of TON Whales

In the beginning of July 2020 TON mining was launched.

TON Whales team developed its own pool for mining TON cryptocurrency — Infinity TON Mining Pool. To start, it was necessary to register a TON wallet, connect to the pool through the WhalesPoolBot bot, and then start mining by downloading the version of the software that is suitable for the user (depending on the OS used).

In June 2022, mining of Toncoin was completed.

Since January 2022, TON Whales project team has been focusing on developing staking products and the Tonhub wallet.

TON Whales today

In 2024, TON Whales team is developing the service NEW SECRET PROJECT – its own bank cards integrated into the Tonhub wallet. The cards allow holders to pay for goods and services directly from their Tonhub wallet balance.

TON Whales team collaborates with technology brands that integrate TON into their business. The list of partners and the status of validators can be viewed on the Whales Products Health page. You can also monitor the status of servers using the Grafana tool. Grafana is a tool for aggregating and viewing server performance metrics.

Crypto Card

HOLDERS

Holders is a crypto card from TON Whales. A Holders crypto card linked to a crypto wallet will allow you to pay for goods and services.

Payment mechanics

Prepaid card. The user makes a deposit with cryptocurrency. After replenishment, the cryptocurrency is converted into fiat and the user can pay for purchases.

A custodial card is an account, which is a smart contract to which the card is linked. The user tops up the card with cryptocurrency, and at the time of payment, the cryptocurrency is converted into fiat and the payment is made.

The replenishment amount for a prepaid card is calculated based on the exchange rate at the time of replenishment. Non-custodial cards have no access to card management by a bank. The debit amount is calculated at the exchange rate at the time of debit from the card account.

Availability of cards

Card release and availability to users depends on the applicant’s country of origin. The developers have not specified in which countries the cards are already available, but it is known that the card was tested by Anatoly Makosov (Tech Lead of TON) in May 2024.
