TONNEL is a cutting-edge mixer protocol tailored for TON blockchain. It enables users to obscure the links between senders and recipients, ensuring transaction privacy. This is achieved through a sophisticated network of smart contracts that amalgamate user transactions into anonymous pools sourced from multiple users. Launch of Mainnet

The mainnet of the TONNEL network commenced operations on January 2, 2024, after an extensive year of testing on its testnet.

Employing Zero-Knowledge Proofs

TONNEL is a leading zero-knowledge (Zk) privacy protocol within TON ecosystem. Zero-knowledge proofs enable one party to verify the truth of a statement without disclosing any more information than necessary, providing only what is needed to prove its validity. TONNEL employs the Succinct Non-Interactive Arguments of Knowledge (SNARK) technique, a well-established approach in zero-knowledge proofs. Another technique within the same field of play is the Scalable Transparent Argument of Knowledge (STARK).

1. Initiating deposits:

Participants initiate by logging into their TONNEL-enabled wallets and transferring a predefined amount of TON (xTON) to a designated smart contract. This amount includes transactional and protocol fees, and the depositor is compensated with $TONNEL jetton equivalent to their deposit.
A unique secret key is generated and stored by the user, intended for a single-use to reclaim funds.

2. Executing Withdrawals:

The deposited xTON can later be retrieved through a different wallet by utilizing the previously stored secret key. This key and the recipient’s wallet details must be entered on the TONNEL network’s interface.

There are two distinct methods to process withdrawals:

Full Safety Mode: Here, Zero knowledge Proofs are generated in the user's PC web browser, requiring robust internet speed and processing power. A well-equipped PC can achieve this in 2 minutes or less.
Using a TONNEL Server: This faster alternative offers less security but quicker transaction times, usually 1 minute or less.

Once the withdrawal is initiated, the front-end application checks the validity of the secret key and generates proof on behalf of the depositor, maintaining anonymity. This proof includes the recipient’s address and relayer fees, with the default fee being 5% of the transferred pool size and some amount of $TONNEL jetton proportional to the pool size. The recipient's wallet receives the remaining 95%.

Relayers in the TONNEL Network

Relayers play a crucial role in broadcasting zero-knowledge proofs to the TONNEL contract and ensuring that each secret key is used only once to prevent double-spending. Any Telegram user can register as a relayer through the TONNEL relayer bot by purchasing a relayer NFT from getgems.io.

Once an NFT owner connects the NFT to the TONNEL relayer bot, they may be selected to receive a message that must be signed within 40 seconds. After that window closes, the message is retracted and sent to another relayer. The relayer receives a fee for each successful signing

There are 3 tiers of NFTs, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Each gold NFT commands a value of 500 points, each silver NFT 250, and each bronze NFT 5 points. The points determine a relayer’s reputation score. The higher the reputation score, the more likely the TONNEL Indexer will randomly select the relayer.

ZkNFTs

TONNEL supports private NFT activities through a ZkNFT standard, allowing confidential minting, transfer, and burning of NFTs. The first private NFT collection using this technology has been deployed on TON blockchain, (TON ZkP), (Crypto News).

TONNEL Network Token

$TONNEL — is a token of the TONNEL network with a total supply of 10 million tokens.

At the time of writing (04.07.24) there is: $687,379 $TONNEL in circulation.

It is minted on a predetermined schedule (relay bonuses, pools and private sales, first Airdrop and IDO in the past). Thus, the overall supply is constantly changing.

Total reserve: 35% - 3,500,000 tokens;

Dao and Airdrop: 5% - 500,000 tokens;

Repeater Rewards: 7% - 700,000 tokens;

Team: 8% - 800,000 tokens;

IDO: 5% - 500,000 tokens;

Private sale: 5% - 500,000 tokens;

Liquidity Provider Fees: 35% - 3,500,000 tokens.

Total Value Locked (TVL): As of June 2024, TONNEL has a TVL of approximately $1.26 million, indicating significant user engagement and trust in the protocol.
Between October 2023 and April 2024, TON/TONNEL LP providers on DeDust were given an opportunity to drill (farm) 62,200 $TONNEL. Currently, there are 66,666 $TONNEL being distributed across Ston.fi and DeDust TON/TONNEL LP drillers.
