In 2023, Telegram held the Mini Apps Challenge 2023, aimed at encouraging the development of mini-applications integrated into the Telegram platform. The competition took place from September 22 to October 9, 2023. Initially, the prize pool was set at $50,000, but during the event, it was increased to $66,250.

Participation Requirements and Process

Participants were invited to develop mini-applications that could run directly within Telegram using Web Apps capabilities. The applications had to be functional, user-friendly, and meet Telegram’s quality standards. Developers used various tools and frameworks to create their projects.

A total of 186 applications were submitted, featuring 206 mini-apps, ranging from games to developer tools.

Throughout the competition, active discussions took place on GitHub, where participants shared their solutions, received feedback, and improved their mini-apps. This allowed developers not only to showcase their work but also to attract the attention of potential users and investors.
