Major
Major is a Telegram mini app where users play a task-completion game to earn Toncoin and increase their ratings by collecting stars, which will later determine the allocation they receive of the $MAJOR token.
How to Play Major on Telegram
The game's objective is for players to compete with others to achieve the highest rating. This game is the pioneer of the rating system in TON Ecosystem. Players collect stars as they complete various daily tasks and invite friends, increasing their ratings as the stars add up. Inviting a regular Telegram user to the mini app gets you 15 stars, and a premium user adds 50 stars to your rating.
Other notable ways to earn stars include the following:
- Hold to Earn allows users to earn more stars by holding a virtual coin in the «rewards» section of the mini app. The longer you press on the coin, the more stars you get. Each holding session lasts only 60 seconds. Players get another chance every eight hours.
- Free Spin provides another way to earn stars. Users tap on the «spin» button on the «rewards» page. This feature allows players to win guaranteed prizes ranging from a specific number of stars (500 – 10,000) to multipliers (2x – 10x). Each player has a free spin every 8 hours, but you can win one more for every 5 friends you invite.
The TOP-100 Majors for each week will receive varying amounts of Toncoins, and the all-time top 10 will get special rewards. Note that stars have no monetary value but can be converted to $MAJOR tokens later.
$MAJOR Tokens
A core element of the Major game on Telegram is $MAJOR, a token currently in development, intended to provide value within the Major ecosystem. The team behind the game is working with top exchanges to keep the listing and allocation of the token very transparent and seamless. The team has yet to announce a specific release date, and they stated that the listing price will depend on the ratings. The amount of tokens each user will get depends on rankings, as determined by the number of stars a user has:
- Elite Participants (Ranks 1–3):
- Earn 85,998–128,998 tokens.
- High Ranks (Ranks 4–50):
- Ranks 4–10 receive 64,499 tokens.
- Ranks 11–50 earn 32,249 tokens.
- Mid-Level (Ranks 51–100):
- Receive 16,125 tokens.
- Community (Ranks 101–10,000):
- Ranks 101–1,000 earn 1,612 tokens.
- Ranks 1,001–10,000 receive 645 tokens.
- Mass Distribution (Ranks 10,001–30,000,000):
- Earn 1 token.
The team aims to ensure fairness by making the tokens available to all users simultaneously. There will be no presale. Users can «farm» $MAJOR tokens by increasing their rating through timely completion of tasks and inviting friends to engage with the mini app.
According to tokenomics, the $MAJOR token has a maximum supply of 100 million. The team allocated 80% for community distribution and set aside 20% for marketing and development. Pavel Durov received 1% of the tokens.
On November 28, centralized exchanges such as Okx, Bybit, Gate.io, and others listed the token.
The Major project on Telegram is similar to other initiatives like Notcoin ($NOT) or $DOGS, rewarding Telegram users for their engagement with TON Ecosystem.
In December 2024, the +888 NFT Numbers exchange launched, enabling Telegram users to stake their phone numbers and earn $MAJOR tokens. Users earn income when their virtual number is rented out. The rental process is facilitated through smart contracts. The project was implemented with support from the Fragment team.
