Inal Kardan
Inal Kardan — IT specialist, entrepreneur, and expert in blockchain technologies and GameFi. He is currently a partner at the venture fund, TON Ventures. Previously, he served as the Gaming Lead at TON Foundation. Inal has also held senior positions at WavesDucks and Meta0.
Biography
Early Career
Inal Kardan began his career in IT at the State University of Management, where he worked as the head of the IT department from 2015 to 2018. During this time, he was involved in developing and implementing an API for the Learning Management System (LMS) and participated in the creation of mobile apps for students. He also developed of the university’s website, which was recognized as the «Best University Website in Russia» in 2014.
Career in the Blockchain Industry
From 2018 to 2020, Inal Kardan held the position of Developer Relations Manager at the Waves Platform, where he worked on attracting external developers, creating tools for smart contracts, and developing integrations with cloud solutions. During his tenure at Waves, the company attracted over 200,000 new users and partners.
From 2021 to 2022, Inal was the Chief Technical Officer at Waves Ducks, where he helped create the Waves Ducks gaming universe and launch blockchain-based games. The Waves Ducks project became one of the leading initiatives in the global GameFi ecosystem.
In July 2022, Kardan co-founded and became the Chief Technical Officer at Meta0, a company focused on developing blockchain infrastructure to ensure interoperability between various blockchains and metaverses. The company is actively advancing the GameFi ecosystem and other directions in the Web3 space.
Work at TON Foundation
In June 2023, Inal Kardan joined TON Foundation as Gaming Lead, where he was responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for GameFi within the foundation. His duties included project management, establishing partnerships, engaging the community, and ensuring regulatory compliance. He also worked on building infrastructure for GameFi, including an SDK for game engines. Inal consulted numerous successful gaming teams within TON and Telegram ecosystems. He served at TON Foundation until June 2024.
Since August 2024, Inal Kardan has been a partner at TON Ventures, where he continues to contribute to the development of TON Ecosystem and supports blockchain technology-related startups.
Inal Kardan has significantly contributed to the development of blockchain projects and the Web3 ecosystem. His work on projects like Waves Ducks, Meta0, and TON Foundation has paved the way for the gaming industry’s growth within Web3 and blockchain technologies.
