TADA Mini

TADA Mini is a ride-hailing service as a Telegram mini app. The platform is designed to connect Telegram users to TADA's existing network of 300,000 drivers across Southeast Asia.

TADA Mini

TADA Mini aims to simplify access to ride-hailing services by integrating them into Telegram, allowing users to book rides seamlessly without needing to download a separate application.

History

In 2018, Mass Vehicle Ledger (MVL), a mobility service provider company using blockchain technology, launched the parent service, TADA, as the world's first blockchain-based ride-hailing platform. Since its inception, TADA has gained significant traction, accumulating a vast driver network and key partnerships with industry leaders.

In September 2024, the TADA Mini app was introduced at the TOKEN2049 event in Singapore. The platform was strategically developed to launch during the event, providing on-site transportation where global Web3 and blockchain enthusiasts converge. TADA Mini's approach to integrating ride-hailing service within Telegram garnered a remarkable reputation for the platform as one of the first blockchain services providing real-life utility.

Initially launched in Singapore, TADA Mini is now available in other Southeast Asian countries, such as Thailand, Bangkok, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong, in China. The company plans to further their reach to the global audience, providing mobility to every Telegram user.

Features

TADA Mini has distinct features that make ride-hailing easy and accessible.

  • Large area coverage – leveraging TADA's existing network of drivers, the platform provides reliable and widespread service coverage across supported regions.
  • Telegram integration – TADA Mini's integration into Telegram allows its users to book rides directly from the app without the need to download another app, making it very easy to access.
  • Easy payment solutions – The service supports fiat and blockchain-based payments which is in line with TADA's focus on blockchain technology. In the case of service disruption, user decision, or other issues resulting in the cancellation of a ride, refunds are directly sent to the connected wallet on the app.
  • Accessible support – The mini app offers customer support directly through Telegram, where users can raise any issues, track complaints, or ask for assistance with bookings. The customer service is available 24/7 ensuring the user gets help whenever needed.
  • Web3 Friendly – TADA Mini incorporates blockchain technology into its platform for added security and transparency, offering features like wallet integration and community-driven incentives.
  • Trip sharing – The platform also allows users to split the fare for their rides. Users can book rides and then share the payment link directly through the app.
  • User incentives – TADA occasionally offers several promotions to reward their users. The platform has initiated several activities such as insurance coverage for passengers, giveaways, free rides, and cash-back offers, promoting community inclusion.

Booking a ride

To use TADA Mini, users are required to grant location access to the Telegram app. These simple steps could be followed to book a ride on the platform. A short video tutorial is also available on MVL’s YouTube channel.

  1. Launch TADA Mini App – it's integrated directly into Telegram, the user must first have the Telegram app installed on their device to launch the app. The bot will onboard the user, providing necessary instructions to help the user set up.
  2. Enter ride details – The bot will ask for the user's pickup location and destination, they will need to provide this information. The price for their ride is displayed after the destination is set.
  3. Choose a type of ride – Once the details are entered, the bot will show the available ride options to choose from. The user can choose the type of ride they want, such as Any Tada, which routes the nearest available ride, or Tada bike for a bike ride, and other vehicle options.
  4. Paying for a selected ride – The user can then make payments through traditional methods or blockchain-based payments, depending on availability in the region.
  5. Track ride – After booking a ride, the user will receive information about their ride, including the driver's details, contact information, and estimated time of arrival. They would also be able to track the ride in real time.
  6. Ride confirmation – Once the ride is completed, users can rate their drivers and enjoy the token rewards, if available for the ride.

MVL’s TADA Mini serves as a step towards a new era of decentralized mobility services, leveraging the user base of Telegram to enhance accessibility and convenience in ride-hailing.
